Chief Operations Officer
Michelle Roberts is Chief Operations Officer of Brotman Financial Group, Inc., an independent firm assisting clients with wealth creation, preservation, and distribution. Ms. Roberts is an original member of the Brotman Financial Group team, having joined at the firm's inception in 2003. In her role as COO, she serves on the executive management team and oversees the company’s day-to-day operations. She is responsible for overseeing the property management and physical plant, human resources, information technology as well as the company's financial statements and account management, and employee appreciation, licensing, and education. She also coordinates all client events, team meetings and retreats, and the semi-annual Brotman Financial Group Advisory Board meetings.
Prior to her role as COO, Ms. Roberts served as Director of Insurance Operations performing client service functions related to the risk management portion of the firm's financial planning process, including the coordination of underwriting for clients' life, disability, and long-term care insurance policies. She was promoted to Operations Manager in 2009 and became a principal and shareholder when she was named COO in July 2014.
Ms. Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Towson University and holds a Maryland life and health insurance license. She is pursuing additional training in accounting and human resources.
